Ring Widths
The width of your starlight band is one of the key desisions in choosing
a starlight band.You should think about whether you are
going to be wearing your band with other rings.How will it compliment an
engagement ring if you are wearing one.
Do you wish to get several bands and stack them? Multiple colors of 18ktgold
bands look great.
Two millimeter is the narrowest band that I set diamonds into, because when
the diamond is 1.3mm across I need a little metal on each side to hold the
diamond in place.
The widest band that I normally make is 10mm however I welcome special orders
of 12mm or wider.
If you like the staggered effect, with the diamonds being in an up down
position a wider band works better.
All the starlight bands are made withn a comfort fit, that is a rounded
inside so the band slides on easily. Less expensive rings that you may find
at the mall jewelers or on the shopping channel do not offer this .... In
fact often their rings are quite uncomfortable to put on.
